Zippered folio/planner – Latest haul!

Hey guys! So a couple days back I found something I’ve been looking for for a LOONG time! It’s one of those zippered notebooks/folios! I’ve always wanted to try a zipper style planner because I’m still kind of a newbie and haven’t found my #PlannerPeace just yet.

So I found one but it simply wasn’t my style. It was a plain black cover and it was sleek, sure. but it was too boring for me. Since i couldnt find any other folio with the zippers, I decided I would take it and transform it myself 😀

I will post pictures of the before and after as soon as possible!

Till my next post, See you later!-

Diy sticker booklet!!

Hey lovelies!

Something super super exciting and interesting happened today! I was just brainstorming alone for some new sticker related ideas and I decided to make my first ever glossy sheet! (check previous post 😀 ) After that, I thought I wanted to create/innovate something a little more unique/something I haven’t seen around up till date. I had a crazy idea which i made into reality and i love the result.

I folded the glossy sheet in half, and many other steps just followed in this crafty flow i was in. before i knew it, i had made a dori style sticker booklet about the size of my palm which had sheets of matte stickers as the pages and a thicker sheet of glossy stickers as the cover. I will be posting more pictures on my instagram but here is a little flip through of all the little matte sticker sheets so far!

Glossy stickers!?

Hey lovelies!

I’m so super excited to share this new update with you guys! So I have been and will be for quite some time using matte/paper like sticker paper to make all my stickers and sticker sheets. I wanted to make stickers with a shine to it for a change and since I don’t have access to glossy sticker paper, I had to come up with a more access-able method of giving my stickers a shine. after some trial and error, I finally figured out a trick to make my stickers have a glossy, smoother finish and I’m so happy with this neat little trick. If you’d like to see more pictures, go check out my instagram (@TheTumblryCoffeePlanner) for I’ve posted many pictures on there! Have some more cool news for you which I’ll post soon!

New sticker storage?

Hi! If you’re already following me on Instagram I made a post about this and added that I would be posting regarding this in my blog so here it is!

The only stickers I have in my collection at the moment (until I collect my @shopalissalove order which i’m so excited for!!) are all made by me and I have been making stickers excessively so I have quiet a few sheets to organize. All this time, I had been making smaller sticker sheets that fit well in a box I had but they often got folded or the stickers peeled off and stuck together. I decided I did not want box storage for my larger sticker sheets (see my earlier posts, the larger sticker sheets are the ones with the rounded corners) so I tried something out!

I had some extra plastic from some clothing packaging that I chose not to throw away for some reason, and i’m so glad i didn’t! I cut the vinyl textured clear plastic and cut it in measurements close to those of the sticker sheets and created an envelope style pouch/pocket/bag to hold my stickers. I cut the plastic in a way that would enable me to have a flap enclosure and I sealed it with a sticker of my symbol/logo that is re-position able. I will use this envelope style pouch to hold my stickers for a while and update you guys if this storage system stays or leaves. See you later!

I really want to know what your sticker storage is like and what you use! comment below so I can see and try things out!

Weekend banner stickers

Hey lovelies! So I’ve been making stickers for quiet some time now and I recently realized how empty my weekends have been and I wanted to change that so in my most recent sheet (check earlier posts! 😀 ) I designed some weekend banners in a very chic-ish style? Nevertheless, I am really happy with how these 2 stickers have turned out. Follow for planner spread updates-coming up next!

New sticker sheets!

Hey all! So last night I was drawing up some sticker designs and I decided to make a slightly different sticker sheet. I wanted it to be larger and have some space between the elements and also have a theme. I came up with a theme comprising of 2 of my FAVORITE things (floral and bohemian stickers) and so I called the sheet Floral/boho decorative sheet and i’m super happy with how the sheets and stickers have turned out! for more pictures check out my instagram (@thetumblrycoffeeplanner)I hope you like them!

MAJOR Sticker Updates!!

Hey guys! The last time I posted about my stickers was a long long time a go and I have surely changed the way I make my stickers.

If you have seen some of my first posts, you probably noticed that I started with some plain labels that you put on books to make my stickers. I drew on them with my sharpies and other markers to achieve whatever I wanted to make into stickers and then kiscut them out with my X-acto blade. I have posted some of them here so check them out if you want to 🙂

After that, I decided I wanted to try creating stickers digitally and printing them out to get a much, much cleaner finish to my stickers. For this, I had to find A4 sheet size sticker papers to fit into my printer. After somehow getting my hands on them with the help of my dear brother, I started drawing. The First digital sticker design I made was a pineapple that is very special to me and now I’ve made so many more stickers and designs. If you want to see all of my stickers/designs please go check out my Instagram, where i’ve posted it all! 🙂
